UI’s instructor-based programming provides a unique opportunity to expand learning time while addressing the academic needs of students and focusing on the key instructional components such as Math, Reading/ELA.
UI’s blended academic/enrichment format offers interventions and additional time on task in Math, Reading/ELA. Instructional materials are aligned with Common Core Standards and are supplementary to grade level curricula. Parental involvement is also a key component.
UI’s child-centered program of academic and enrichment activities are designed to help students gain an appreciation for learning and improve character/social development, while building their 21st Century Skills.
Professional Development
UI’s job- embedded strategy for PD is provided on multiple levels within the context of instructional service delivery, and can be integrated into school/ district scheduling for shorter or more extended time periods, dependent upon the needs of staff.
